Nothing what so ever wrong with this, they will show as separate trade lines and if you use them correctly they will help build your credit score quickly.

Use them for every day things that you would normally pay cash for and pay them off in full before the due date this way you never pay interest and build your credit at the same time.

If you find yourself in a position that you must carry a balance never let it exceed 30% of your total combined credit limit or your score will take a hit.

You seem way too caught up in the card marketing...blue, black, saphire, etc. Decisions should be made upon intended use of the card. Grace period v interest rate, rewards v fees, etc.

You're right to not have more than 3 types. RJ

For worldwide usage, forget Amex; Visa & MC will provide many more countries. Cards tied to airlines tend to reward you with FF points to fly on their airline, so unless you fly Japan Airlines forget that one. Diners Club, as I understand, is basically for elite dining. Not a member so can't pass judgement on that one.
For me, that would leave #1 & #4. I do not know what SBI is, but know Citi is worldwide and sponsers european soccer clubs and american baseball stadiums. Based on that statement, I'd have to lean toward #1.

You may want to visit www.cardratings.com to further evaluate each ard and current offers.

The Citi mtvU card has a better rewards structure.
Why not try for both?
Visit the website below and look in the Credit Pulls database for your state to see which credit reporting agency Citi pulls.
Chase is almost always Experian.
