When a person has to take out loans to pay off credit cards, it's time to cut them up. Your wife should never have had access to these cards after her spending sprees.

If your wife has a problem spending money, it probably gives her some sort of short-term comfort; however, she could consider therapy for the issue. It's up to her to change this behavior.

I can't tell you whether to end the relationship or not. Restrictions should have been in place long ago, however.

I sure hope this works out… i know the discomfort of not having enough money to pay the bills and buy necessities.

dump her…. you two have baggage on top of the fact that neither of you have any money management skills! You should be broke on your own and she should move on looking for a sugar daddy or whatever. You will never be happy and you will always be broke staying with this woman. I'd also consider pressing criminal charges against the woman for using your ss# illegally.

All dentist now have their own plans. If yours is too expensive , change dentist. My son is 23 , has a $8.00 per hr job too, no insurance, but had a toothache. We searched the pennysaver to find a dentist who gave free exams and had a plan he could pay.So many people do not have insurance or can't afford insurance. Dentist are willing to work with you.

I'm sorry you're going through such a rough time. I can't help you, but wanted to give you some advice if you want financial help from people.

Your profile really won't inspire confidence in a financial backer. Saying your life is spiraling down, your friend is supporting you with a place to live and food, have no car, and feel like ending it all won't make too many people feel like writing you a check.

Try focusing on your strong points, your positive attributes, and willingness to move forward in a new direction.

I was wondering about this not paying your credit card back. you were saying something about taking money off in small increments. What if I take larger increments off and dont pay it back? Recommendations?
