I bought these cards that are virtually paper, and for the price, they should be cardboard. They are the size of treasure chest cards in Monopoly. But most importantly, Big Waste of Money. My daughter said, one word, out of the stack was on the GRE. I think I will listen to what was recomended to me before buying all this stuff, which was sign up for a class for preparation. I made the mistake of buying the math, verbal workbook, the cards, and the GRE book and my daughter scored 400 on verbal, 430 on Math. This is a college grad, UMass/Amherst with an English major. What does that tell you?

I highly recommend the product to the students who want to stand out from the crowd. It is a supplemental tool to the regular preparation books. So,If you are one of the top students in your university and want to pursue a MS Degree at most prestigious US Universities, then it is exactly for you.
However, I believe that it will be a perfect tool when the cards have related illustrations or pictures.

Though the format of these cards were excellent, and though it was convenient to have ready-made pocket-sized cards for study on the go, I wasn’t a huge fan of this product. For one thing, the words were too basic: it would probably be a good study set for someone whose weakness is verbal and needs to study hard to attain a 600, but for anyone with verbal strengths aiming at a very high score, the words were simply too basic (e. g. , words like “abyss” and “rejuvenate” that most people probably learned in the 5th grade). In addition, the GRE tests on more than the first or second word definition, and these cards only gave the most commonly used definition. I would have preferred cards that had an entire dictionary definition, complete with all possible meanings, on the back.
So if your goal is to scrape by with a 600-650, this is a good set for you. If you’re aiming any higher, you’ll probably have to make your own flash cards based on harder word lists in study books.

Plenty of flash cards. Too many! Cards themselves are thin and difficult to use. Didn’t really help much.

This product has helped my vocabulary expand. You do need to use them to see the difference. I have not taken the GRE yet, but I do know I will be going into the test with a more developed vocabulary.
