Bought this for 4 year old granddaughter. She loves playing the word games with grandpa and has learned every word. No complaints.

My 2 year old loves these flash cards. The First Words are perfect for a 1 1/2 year old or older b/c I think they enjoy knowing and saying the word. Sturdy (but supervise unless you want them all bent) and colorful.

These are inexpensive and good for a toddler who is learning how to speak and identify sounds and words. The colors are vibrant and the images are obvious things like: A bike, a dog, a leaf, etc. Very good for preschool learning.

My only gripe is that the cards bend easily (they are more like regular playing cards, but larger). But the price is right.

I purchased these along with the Shapes & Colors flashcards and I absolutely love them. My daughter started on these when she was about 15months old and she is now 18months and she has memorized all 54cards. I do little games with her where I show her two cards and tell her to take a certain one and she gets it right! The colored pictures and solid word is a perfect teaching tool for interest and association, I also teach her the animals noises. I don’t understand the complaint of the texture and them being flimsy because in my opinion their perfect for flash cards. I simply hold them and go one by one, when My daughter holds them she knows not to bend them.

But all in all these (along with the shapes and colors) flashcards are great and I plan to purchase more learning tools from this shipper/store.

My preschooler loves these. She can look at the pictures and say what they are and spell the words so she considers it reading and I encourage every word.
