Credit Card Services And Why We Need Those Little Cards
Practically everyone in the United States has credit cards. From teenagers to retirees, almost everyone has at least one credit card. Everywhere we go we see ads – in the television, radio, newspapers, billboard advertisements – on credit cards. Some credit cards are even mailed directly to our homes. But what are credit cards and why should you have one?
Simply stated, a credit card (or for many, just known as credit, is a financial arrangement between you, the consumer or the card user, and an institution (in most instances a bank), that you have to borrow instant money from them and promises that you will repay them back in the future. The institution agrees to that it will give the money you need and expects you to pay them over a certain time period, like on a monthly basis. Your payment will include not just the entire money you owed the group or institution but also an additional charge that is known as an interest rate, if you are unable to pay your full balance on time monthly.
Credit can provide various services, making it an indispensable tool for today’s consumers. These include:
Convenience. You saw this wonderful dress in a shop. Perfect for tonight’s party, you thought. But you don’t have money right now. Thanks to your card, you can buy anything you want right now. Credit cards give you that wonderful allowance not to bring that much cash and to order goods from catalogs. In addition, many of the online-based shops and stores, such as Amazon.com, mainly accept payment using credit.
Emergency Protection. For emergency situation, credit cards can be an extremely helpful tool that could be your friend that could pay for your emergency needs, like when your car conked out in the road, or your mother gets hospitalized, or any emergency situations that you need money but can’t get it from the usual means.
Putting you in the right budget. Want to keep a detailed record of your expenditures? Credit cards can do that.
Security. In today’s world, carrying large cash has become a problem. If your cash gets lost, there’s no way you can retrieve it. Compared with credit cards, money cannot be returned back when it got lost or stolen. If your card, for example, got broken or it got lost or someone stole it from you, you can always ask for a credit card termination or cancellation. You will have another card, a new one that will replace it in a few days.
Traveling. If you’re quite a traveler, whether across the town or country, or outside the US, it is relatively easier to travel with a credit card.
When used responsibly, credit cards are can help improve our daily lives. With cards, life could be so much easier.

I went through somewhat the same ordeal. Ask him the name of the company that he works for, and if they have not sent you any letters ask him then to do so, so you can varify the amount owed. The company can take you to small claims court, but if they have no intention to do so then this is a severe violation of the FDCPA. Feel free to email me for any other questions.

You can find a complete list of balance transfer credit cards here:
http://www.asapcreditcard.com/0-apr.html
Unfortunately, it will be almost impossible to find a 0% APR offer without a 'balance transfer fee'. Since so many people were taking advantage of these deals and constantly switching offers– the credit card companies have take action to prevent the losses associated with these cards.
Your best bet is to find offers with LIMITS or CAPS on the 'balance transfer fee'. For example, Chase and Discover both charge a 3% balance transfer fee– but it's limited to $75.
Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

I am a letter carrier with the USPS for going on 30 years who has had a PO box for more than 20, and can tell you that regarding PO boxes from the USPS, you do not know what you are talking about. Businesses open and close PO boxes that are used strictly for commerce all the time. An individual can use their box for personal or business use. I do. I receive my personal mail as well as all mail for my eBay business, and no one at the PO has ever asked me for anything other than the info I signed up for it with in 1987, which was my name, street address and phone number.
There is a local band with a large following that has a member of it living in my zip code. That person happens to be the business manager for the group and receives all of the mail addressed to the group at his personal residence, but if he were to open up a PO box to handle this mail, he'd have no problem at all.
I don't know what kind of problems you've had with private outfits, or their policies, but the PO is no problem at all. Just go there and tell them that you want to open a box with you as the owner, representing your business, the band, and make sure the clerk understands that mail addressed to you or the band is to go there. They won't care if you're making money from it, that's the whole idea of business, and the PO isn't in business to turn business away. Just so you don't run into problems getting everything, make sure that any advertising you do instructs fans to send mail for individual band members IN CARE OF the band, or the clerks may not recognize the name and 'kill' the piece, ie, send it back.

if you do not have any kind of credit history there is no way you will get a card with a low interest rate unless you are a student and apply for a student credit card other wise you will be looking at credit cards with higher interest rates and annual fees but this happens with your first card but you once you have stablish a little bit of credit you could apply for a better one. check out http://www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com here you will be able to compare all major credit cards side by side on rates, fees and rewards.

Your creditors will only help you if you are behind. They will not settle on current accounts.
CCCS is not as bad as filing for BK. They can negotiate reduced interest and payments. They will require you to stop using all credit and to cut up your cards. Your credit report will be updated to "enrolled in debt management." This does not damage your credit, but it may make it difficult to obtain new credit while you are enrolled in their program….so don't use this service if you anticipate applying for a new apartment, car loan or mortgage anytime soon, as you would might be denied while you're enrolled in the CCCS debt management program…

They should never ask you to show ID when using a debit card. Your PIN# is your ID!
