No you do not. I work for the Speedway Corporate office in customer service. The Chase Mastercard and the Speedy Rewards card are two separate cards. If you use both cards, you earn even more points (40 pts per dollar w/ Chase and 10 pts per gallon for fuel/20 pts per dollar inside the store). You'll still earn your Chase points even if you only use your Chase card. Just make sure Chase has your Speedy Rewards card number so you'll earn the points!

As a Chase Credit Card Customer,

I will tell you that this cannot be done. I tried it myself. They will tell you that they will need to re-pull your credit profile (i.e. credit report) to see whether you are eligible.

The only thing that you can do with your EXCITING account without having to re-pull your credit report is to 1) increase your credit line (i.e. spending power), 2) make balance transfers or consolidate debt with your existing card, 3) negotiate a lower interest rate (assuming of course you have not been late in that year at all).

Hope this helps.

Definitely Citibank (Citi). Chase is NOT always forgiving if you miss a payment. Citibank usually work w/ their customers even if you carried a balance, and they negogiate with lower interest rates if you ask for 18 months with them. Chase is notorious about late fees and customer service sucks.

no , that doesn't mean that you were declined , but they will look at your credit report and will determine after . don't worry when you apply online , the information of your credit report enters their computer as points , if it matches their limit , you will be approved right away , if it didnt . a representative has to look at it and then tells you . :)
you will be approved :D

Chase has several cash back offers right now. If you're only looking for the best cash back incentives, the Chase Freedom Cash Card is probably the best with up to 3% cash back. But it only has a 0% APR for 6 months (on purchases and balance transfers).

The Chase Perfect Card has 3% cash back on gas purchases and 1% on all other purchases. It's 0% APR is for 12 months on purchases and transfers.

You can find a complete list of Chase credit cards (including the 2 above) here:

Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

You can apply for it, but I don't think you'd be accepted. Chase doesn't seem to accept people with bad credit or no history of credit.

No - even if they were offered by the same company, you have to get a new account.
