Business Credit Card Services That Every Business Needs

There is a mind-boggling array of different business credit cards offers out there with some cards offering barebones services and some cards providing indispensible, comprehensive services.  But which one is the right card for your business?

If you are considering a specific business credit card, research it carefully. Credit card services for small businesses have gained a great deal of importance because there are more and more people operating their own businesses. According to a recent economic study, there are approximately 41 million small businesses in operation today and two brand new small businesses “start up” every minute. In order to cash in on this particular opportunity, credit card companies are constantly fine tuning the way they roll services out to business owners. Here is a look at some of the most popular business credit card services:

Rewards
Nearly all business credit cards offer some kind of travel miles or point incentive reward program and they are all based on the same principle: for every dollar that your business spends on credit, you will get some kind of reward.  Examples include points for purchases with designated merchants, discounts on rental cars and hotels or “miles” which are redeemable for fares on some of the world’s biggest airlines. These points can be earned easily while using your card for everyday purchases for your business and then used for a wide variety of things depending on which program is being offered.

Cash Back
Some business credit cards also offer cash back for every purchase you make. These are considered to be some of the best business credit cards you can get but unfortunately they often require that you pay out more in higher interest rates or annual fees. Make sure to shop around when considering credit cards with cash back. The average cash back is around 3 percent for business credit cards.

Frequently Used Service Discounts
Some business credit cards offer special discounts for businesses on products and services they regularly use, including hotel stays, car rentals, office supplies, shipping and webhosting. These discounts can be very useful for your business because they impact the bottom line. With a little bit of research, you should be able to find discounts that your business can benefit from, making this a good business service for your company.

Monthly Reports
Some business cards offer detailed monthly statements, making the recordkeeping process much simpler which can prove truly useful when you are designing a budget for your business or planning for quarterly taxes.

These are some of the most common services offered with business credit cards but there are new programs being created all the time and existing programs are enhanced based on their viability and popularity.  To find the perfect card for your business, check out as many cards as you can and compare their programs.  With the wide variety of cards available today, you should easily be able to find the card that deserves to have your business name printed on it.

Help answer the question about credit card services

i received a notice from fia card services indicating the last 4 digits of a credit card?
i have no credit card with the last 4 digits they provided. nowhere in the paperwork does it provide the name of the credit card company issuing the card. there is also no phone number to call, but there is a website to contact which i hesitate to get involved with since I don't want to give out any personal information. how can i find out what company supposedly issued this card?

lets cut to the chase — you have a credit card and all throught the month you make purchase for goods/services — at the end of the month (cut off date) your credit card totals all charges deducts payments adds interest and sends you a bill — so what every the bill states is the minimun you can pay and stay current and that payment covers all charges!!!!

The reason you got different answers is because not all customer service reps are created equal. Some of them will make stuff up if they don't know the answer just to get you off the phone. It may seem obvious but as soon as an operator picks up the phone ask to be transferred to a supervisor (they are not allowed to transfer you unless you ask). The supervisor will have more authority over your account and be able to give you more information.

The truth is any check for more than $10,000 has to be reported. Just to make sure you’re not planning to use the funds to blow something up. B of A has no control over that. All creditors have that responsibility.

However, they can give you accurate information and tell you the status of the review.

First of all you shoud be called a great BIG conservative. To be an American you should have respect for the Constitution and what it stands for. The current admin does not even recognize to Constitution. Mr. Bush considers it "A god damn piece of paper" Cheney cannot even remember that the military oath is to defend the Constitution. (His memory failed during a prepared speech to West Point graduates)
At the end of your dissertation you requote Mr Bush as stating he he stands firm for non-negotiable demands of human dignity.
    So far during his watch:
Rescue workers at ground zero were lied to regarding their health.
Habeus Corpis was revoked after 200 years
    Torture was instituted (including children)
Americans have had their phone conversations eaves dropped upon.
The public has been lied to regarding war.
Thousand of American soldiers have died
Hundred of thousands of Iraqi citizens have been murdered.
The deficit is at 3 Trillion dollars and the American dollar may collapse because of the debt.
Gas prices have risen dramatically and that is not due to the price of oil. The refineries are not working at capacitiy and the oil companies ( this admin. is a part of) have raked in record profits.
The middle class has eroded. Americans are now putting living expenses on their credit card.
The government has not been held accoutable to the people.
Women are certainly not respected when the ban on late-term abortions did not include emergencies concerning the life of the mother.
Religion is only tolerated if you believe in the approved God.
Property Rights are not respected when you consider "eminant domain"
Freedom of speech is only "free" when you agree with the policies of the admin. (or if your FOX noise)
There is NO equal justice since this current regime has taken power and eroded our civil rights. The same rights that we are supposedly defending with the war on terror.
The USA has not signed the Kyoto accords.
The USA has NEVER signed any UN resolutions regarding human rights.
The USA does not belong to the International Court so none of our leaders can be tried for human rights violations or crimes against humanity.
Stop listening to the propaganda and do some independent research before you regurgitate the "official line".
This president may think he has principles but he certainly does not abide by them. The sheep that are following are fellow Republicans (congress) and certainly NOT liberals!!!
So whose idea of "right" are you speaking of?

You have a few options available to you. If your salary's dropped so that you can't afford the bills, the creditor and mortgagors usually have debt releif plans where they can restructur the debt and payments.

One thing to do is ALWAYS stay in contact with the creditors and let them know what's going on. It helps to send in a letter of hardship stating what the current situation is. You'll also want to send them in a financial worksheet – basically a listing of all income sources and debts. This helps them decide how to restructure the repayment plans. If your daughter has a diesease and need medial attention reguarlay, you have a real hardship that the creditors should recognize.

If all else fails, there is bankruptcy. It's not a good thing, but it can get you the debt relief you need. If you do decide that bankruptcy is the way to go, make sure you understand the impact. It can put a black mark on your credit for 7 years and even make it hard to get housing or a job. If you talk to a bankruptcy attorney, make sure they can give you a good lead for credit repair. Going back to your daughter's health issues, that may qualify you for medical bankruptcy.

while you weigh the options, you may want to look at your financials. If you have luxury items (cable, cell phone, subscription services, smoking, etc) then you may consider downsizing for a time while you get the rest of the bills paid off. You'd be surprised at where the money goes once you start making a list of all the expenses. You may also be able to borrow from your 401K at a low interest rate in order to pay off the bills.

Keep your chin up, and good luck with the bills.
